Greyson Demanelis

Greyson Christopher Demanelis, the cherished and beloved infant son of Christopher Demanelis and Alicia Frum of Morgantown, graced the world with his presence on Aug. 11, 2023, and left it far too soon on Jan. 10, 2024.

Greyson’s time on earth was brief yet profoundly impactful, leaving a lasting glow in the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

In his short five months, Greyson was a beacon of joy and happiness. His infectious smile and sparkling eyes brought comfort and laughter to every corner of his home. He possessed an innate ability to light up the room, a gift that will be remembered and treasured by his loving parents. His siblings, Alexis, Kane, Renee, Chaz, Carter, and Mazikeen, found in Greyson a source of delight and wonder, as he always seemed to know when to offer a smile to brighten their day.

Greyson’s grandparents, Brenda Frum and Mickey Frum, along with his great-grandmothers, Charlotte Dusenberry and Areti Demanelis, cherished every moment spent with their delightful grandson. His extended family, including several aunts, uncles, and cousins, also felt the warmth of his gentle spirit.

Greyson was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Catherine Demanelis; great-grandparents, Dave Dusenberry and Vasilious “Bill” Demanelis; and his uncle, Michael Frum.

Friends may join the family to honor Greyson’s all too short life and legacy at Smith Funeral & Cremation Care, 108 Holland Ave., Westover/Morgantown, from 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 17, until the time of the prayer service at 2:30 p.m. with Father Jon Emanuelson officiating. Interment will follow in Lawnwood Cemetery.

The funeral home is donating their professional services to the family. However, there will be some expenses for the family with Greyson’s final arrangements. If you choose to, and in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation directly to the funeral home to assist the family. You may do so by calling 304-292-9494.
