Connie (Titchenell) Everly Hovatter Miller, 75, of Kingwood, passed away Sunday, Dec. 31, 2023, at her home.
She was born Nov. 11, 1948, in Albright, a daughter of the late Troy H. Titchenell Sr. and Mildred “Lucille” (Strahin) Tichenell.
Connie attended Kingwood High School and was a member of the class of 1966. She was a member of the Albright Baptist Church, where she served as secretary. She worked as a loan officer for Bruceton Bank, First Community Bank in Grafton, Edward Jones, the Preston Credit Union. She enjoyed fishing and shopping, but most of all loved the time she spent with her family, she was very proud of her children and grandchildren.
Surviving are her children, Wendell Wayne Everly Jr. of Kingwood, Aimee (Greg) Cline of Moatsville, Andy (Katina) Everly of Grafton, Angie (JC) Miller of Pennsylvania and Lori (Corey) Twigg of Pennsylvania; her grandchildren, Raya (Jason) Trail, Christopher (Nicole) Shaffer, Hanah (Dustin) Stemple, Gabriella Everly, Megan (Andy) Kerstetter, Trey (Haley) Miller, Lakenna Twigg and Cienna Twigg; 11 great-grandchildren; her sister, Delores “Dee” (Art) Hodgdon of Katy, Texas; and two brothers, Troy H. (Maxine) Titchenell Jr. and Steven Eric Titchenell, both of Kingwood.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Gladys Hovatter; her husbands, Jack Hovatter, whom she married in 1974; and Richard Miller, whom she married in 2006; also her beloved dog, Lilly.
Friends may call at Kingwood Funeral Home, 295 S. Price St., Kingwood, from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 5, and Saturday, Jan. 6, from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Jan. 6, at 11 a.m., at the funeral home with Pastor Chris Baker officiating. A private interment will be held at a later date.
