Dolores Marie Wyant, 88, of Morgantown, died at home surrounded by her children on Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2023.
Born on July 29, 1935, in Weston, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Sonabelle Kiddle Straley.
Dolores was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who will be dearly missed by all.
In addition to her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Mount Wyant, to whom she was married for 68 years; and her sister, Patricia Jo Carlson.
Dolores is survived by her three children, Kim Wyant Rizzo (John Rizzo), Frederick Mount Wyant, II, and E. Scott “Augie” Wyant (Beth Mancinelli Wyant). Dolores is also survived by three grandchildren, Adam Burrows (Jessica), Eric Wyant, II (Mariah Spellman), and Julian Wyant; as well as one great-grandchild, Adriana Burrows. She is also survived by her siblings Mark Straley and Judith Flesher; as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family has elected to honor Dolores’s life privately. There will be no public visitations or services.
