Thomas Miller, 81, of Albright, passed away Sunday, Dec. 17, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born on March 21, 1942, in Howesville, a son of the late Wade and Leora (Shaffer) Miller.
Thomas graduated from Tunnelton High School in 1960, and then ended up in Washington, D.C., where he worked for American Security and Trust Bank. This is where he met his wife of 61 years, Rozella (Kelley) Miller. Later he was a coal miner at CONSOL Humphrey #7 mine, and a courier for Clear Mountain Bank. He was a member of the Preston County Country Club and the Fayette Gun Club in Uniontown. He loved golfing and was an avid trap shooter. During the winter, he would travel to Sebring, Fla.
He was survived by his wife, Rozella (Kelley) Miller of Tunnelton; two children, Kim Conner and husband David of ValleyPoint, Kevin Miller and wife Rebecca of Fairmont; one grandson, Thomas Conner; one brother, Timothy Miller and wife Ruby of Parsons; one sister-in-law, Linda Miller of Tunnelton; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Dick Miller.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Kingwood Funeral Home is honored to serve the Miller family.
