Sonny Barker, 78 of Newburg, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2023, at J.W. Ruby Hospital with family by his side. He was born on Jan. 24, 1945, in Newburg, son of the late Roscoe Clifton and Eva Mae (Johnson) Barker.
Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave, Newburg, from 1-5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 12, and on Monday, Nov. 13, from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. with Pastor Mark Benkiel officiating. Interment will follow at the Shay’s Chapel Cemetery. Bolyard Funeral Home is honored to serve the Barker family.
