Charles Eugene Jenkins, 68, of Fairmont, passed away at his home on Sept. 19, 2023. Charles was born in Morgantown on Nov. 24, 1954, to the late Carl and Goldie Handford Jenkins.
Charles served his country in the United States Navy and worked in retail sales for many years.
He is survived by his sister, Debbie Hoff (Chris); brother, Jeff Jenkins (Charlotte); former sister-in-law and caregiver, Debbie Gould (Vince); nieces and nephews, Kristen Balash (Steve), Jessica Prutting (Shawn), Jonathan Vining (Matt Oppenheim), Ryan Jenkins (Elizabeth), and Jordan Jenkins; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held at McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Rd., Westover, from 11 a.m.-noon on Friday, Sept. 22. Following the visitation, a graveside service will be held at the West Virginia National Cemetery at 1 p.m. on Sept. 22, with full military honors conferred by Taylor County Honor Guard and the United States Navy Funeral Honors team.
