Mary Alice Luzader, 80, of Cheat Lake, passed away Sunday, Aug. 27, 2023, at Morgantown Health and Rehab. Mary was born on June 4, 1943, a daughter of the late Arthur and Wilma Stewart Scott. Mary worked for Sterling Faucet for many years as well as Health South and Morgantown Manor. Mary was a member of Hope Church. She loved her church family and enjoyed listening to Christian music. Mary is survived by her son, Scott Eugene Luzader (Stephanie) of Texas; grandchildren, Melanie, Austin, Kiersten, Joel, and Adelie Luzader of Texas, and Christopher Luzader of Morgantown; sisters, Karen Butchart (James) of N.C., Barabra Grim (Roger) of Mt. Morris, Pa., Marie Bryan of Morgantown and Tammy Hunnel (John) of Morgantown; her dog, Sampson; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her brothers, Robert, James, and Danny Bryan, and her sister, Pearl Scott. Friends may gather at McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Westover, from 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 31, until the 1 p.m. service time with Pastors M.A. Donham and Joseph Donham officiating. Burial will follow in Beverly Hills Cemetery. McCulla Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
