Ink was flowing and needles were buzzing Friday at the Morgantown Event Center next to Morgantown Marriott at Waterfront Place.
That’s because more than 200 tattoo and piercing artists were working their magic at the Summer West Virginia Tattoo Expo.
Now a twice-a-year event, it continues today and Sunday.
Besides the tattooists and piercers, there are many vendors, contests, a Miss Tattooed West Virginia pageant and more.
The expo is open to the public, and kids under 12 are free with a paying adult.
Hours are noon-10 p.m. today and noon-7 p.m. Sunday.
Admission is $20 per person with a $5 discount for those with student or military IDs.
