Students gathered at the Evansdale Rec Fields to enjoy West Virginia University’s annual back-to-school concert.
Performing at this year’s FallFest were Flo Rida, The Driver Era and Chayce Beckham. Gates opened at 5:30 p.m.
The alcohol-free event is an annual student-only event to allow students a chance to celebrate being back in Morgantown and heading back to class. Each WVU student with ID is permitted to bring one guest. The festival was open to ages 17 and older only.
Held in conjunction with FallFest, FoodFest featured several area food trucks, so students could satisfy their hunger with local eats as they filled their ears with music.
The concert is part of the university’s Welcome Week offerings.
Students return to campus for classes today.
