The Service League of Morgantown, owners of The Old Stone House Gift Shop, at 313 Chestnut St., will kick-off its 2023-24 Charity Partners program Sept. 4, sharing 10% of that week’s sales with Girls On the Run of North Central West Virginia, which has a Morgantown chapter. Girls On the Run is the first of
16 charities slated to receive funding during the program.
The following is the 2023-24 Charity Partners schedule:

- Oct. 16-22 — CASA for Kids
- Oct. 23-29 — St. Ursula Food Pantry & Outreach
- Nov. 6-12 — Stepping Stones
- Nov. 13-19 — Meals on Wheels
- Nov. 20-26 — RDVIC
- Nov. 27- Dec 3 — Community Kitchen at Trinity Episcopal Church
- Dec. 4-10 — Empty Bowls
- Dec. 11-17 — Pantry Plus More
The Old Stone House Gift Shop, which is open 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, is the place to shop for unique décor items, Blenko Glass, handcrafted pottery by West Virginia artists, gourmet food and West Virginia food items, Burt’s Bees items and much more.
Through the generosity of Old Stone House patrons, The Charity Partners Program, since its inception in 2008, has donated more than $50,000 to local charities. During the 2022-23 program the League donated $5,065.00 to 15 local charities.
In its 88 years in existence, The Service League of Morgantown has donated more than $421,692 to improve the lives of local citizens through charitable, education and cultural activities. The Old Stone House Gift Shop is run and staffed by League volunteers.
