Mary Virginia Warnick Morris, 96, of Grantsville Md., formerly of Morgantown, passed away July 24, 2023, at the Goodwill Mennonite Home. Mary was born on July 25, 1926, in Monongah, a daughter of the late George and Cora Taylor Warnick.
Mary was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mary also was an avid bowler, when able, you could find her at the bowling alley at least three times a week.
Mary is survived by her granddaughter, Virginia Tressler of Grantsville, Md.; her grandson, Ethan Morris of Rhode Island; great-grandchildren, Kyllie Bebout, Jessica Bebout, and Katelynn Keener; and great-great-grandson, Jeremiah James Johnson.
In addition to her parents, Mary was also preceded in death by her husband, Clyde W. Morris; her daughter, Mary Maxine Morris-Robinson; her son, Mark Warren Morris; and several brothers and sisters.
Friends may gather at McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Westover from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26, and again on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service time with Pastor Kevin Cain officiating. Burial will follow in Beverly Hills Cemetery.
