Pamela G. Kelly, age 68, of Bruceton Mills, passed away June 8, 2023, at Mon Health Medical Center following a brief illness.
She was born August 17, 1954 in Oakland, Md., a daughter of the late Rose Mary Wilson, and step father, the late Albert Ronald Wilson, Sr.
Pam had worked for the state as a licensed social worker at the WVDHHR in Kingwood. She then worked and retired from the Mountaineer Challenge Academy North at Camp Dawson in Kingwood where she was a counselor teaching life skills. When she retired she was the Cadet Service Coordinator. She was a member of Grace Chapel Baptist Church of Kingwood for 42 years.
She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Ron Kelly; one daughter and spouse, Christy and Jim Tate, of Morgantown; three grandchildren who were her heart, Sydney “Siddie”, Spencer “Sixpence”, and Sawyer “Yeri”, all of Morgantown; two brothers, Albert “Ron” Wilson and wife Kathy, of Colebank, and James Wilson, of Kingwood; two sisters, Michelle Ramsburg, of Charleston, and Tonja Mayne and husband Edward, of Unionbridge; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved and adored.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Ronald John Kelly; and one brother, Robert Wilson.
Friends may call at Kingwood Funeral Home, 295 S. Price Street, Kingwood, from 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, and from 10 a.m. Monday, until the funeral hour. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 12, with Pastor Michael Argabrite officiating.
