Terry J. “Bozie” Musick, 77, a proud and lifelong resident of Star City, passed away Sunday afternoon, May 28, 2023, at Morgantown Healthcare Center.
He was born in Morgantown on October 25, 1945, the only child of the late Steve and Rose Straface Musick.
Terry is survived by two children, Ron Musick and his wife Judy, of Huntington, and Laura Williams and her husband Bob, of Star City; three grandchildren, Ali Via and husband Jacob, of Charlotte, N.C., Ronnie Musick and wife Katelyn of Pennsville, N.J., and Owen Williams, of Star City; two great-grandchildren Weller Via and Easton Musick; and many extended family members.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death exactly seven years to the day of his own passing by his wife of 47 years Virginia Marie Musick.
Bozie attended St. Francis High School and lastly served as the Sanitation Supervisor for the Town of Star City in a career that spanned over 40 years. He loved to play the lottery, making friends with the town’s dogs along his route, making people laugh with his great sense of humor, and spending time with his family and his grandchildren. Bozie was always smiling and in a good mood.
Friends may join the family to honor Terry’s life and legacy at Smith Funeral & Cremation Care, 108 Holland Ave., Westover/Morgantown from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, June 2. There will be no funeral service and following the visitation, Bozie will be cremated at his request.
