Mary Elizabeth Donley, 92, of Morgantown, formerly of Mount Morris, Pa., died at 5:30 a.m., Monday, April 10, 2023, in Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown. She was born Sept. 5, 1930, in Maidsville, a daughter of the late Wilbur McClure and Lillian Twiss McClure.
Mary was Methodist by faith. She enjoyed going to the Mount Morris Senior Citizens center when her health permitted. She loved getting her hair done, going to yard sales, and playing Bingo at Sundale Nursing Home, where she was a resident. Mary loved spending time with her family and was a homemaker.
Surviving are her three daughters, Dawn Carolyn Laskosky, of Waynesburg, Pa., Cindy Novak and husband Jerry, of Connersville, Ind., Nina Rife and husband Ted, of Maidsville; four sons, Ronald Donley and wife Betty, of Morgantown, Charles Donley and wife Gloria, of Fairmont, James Donley and wife Kim, of Point Marion, Pa., and John Donley and wife Robin of Bobtown, Pa.; 15 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Mary was the last of her immediate family. Deceased are her two sisters, Edith Belle Sutton and Imogene Brotherton, and one brother, Charles McClure.
Visitation and services are to be private and will be held at the convenience of the family with the Rev. William Parker officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mount Morris, Pa., Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc., 324 Mt. Morris Road, P.O. Box 478, Mount Morris, PA 15349, Shane M. Ayers, Director has been entrusted with her arrangements.
