PACE Enterprises honored Mon Health CEO David Goldberg as its inaugural recipient of the “Laurel Leadership Award” Saturday during the Laurel Leadership Gala at the Morgantown Marriott at Waterfront Place.
The event helped kick off the organization’s Vision 2025 campaign. PACE plans to add workspace to provide more jobs for those with disabilities and independent housing. PACE recently established the first Special Needs Pooled Trust in West Virginia as part of the vision plan.
PACE Board of Directors created this prestigious annual award to recognize one individual who exemplifies leadership in advocacy, philanthropy and action to provide meaningful jobs for people with disabilities in West Virginia.
Goldberg and Mon Health are continually helping the local community and work with PACE on a regular basis to provide good job opportunities for people with disabilities.
PACE helps people with disabilities find independence and community participation through gainful employment. PACE operates several businesses that employ people with disabilities and works with other businesses to find placement for workers.
PACE is licensed as a Community Rehabilitation Program and a Behavioral Mental Health Center, which means that all programs are following regulations through regular audits and inspections.
