Jeffery Jerome Vrabel, 56, of Maidsville, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2023, at his home.
He was born in Downey, Calif., on March 1, 1966, a son of Ruth Ann Hower Vrabel, of Arizona, and the late Eugene Vrabel.
Jeff is survived by his wife of 26 years, Rhonda Renee Frum Vrabel; his daughter Oliva Vrabel, of Morgantown; his brother Eugene Vrabel Jr. (Jean); his sister, Stephanie (Corey) Larson, all of Arizona; and several nieces and nephews.
Jeff loved to work on cars and take his Victory out for a good ride. He had the ability to make everything fun and for everyone to be at ease around him. Jeff enjoyed fishing and talking about his time in the U.S. Marine Corps that he was a proud veteran of.
Friends may join the family to honor Jeff’s life and legacy at Smith Funeral & Cremation Care, 108 Holland Ave., Westover/Morgantown, from noon-4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 19. Following the visitation, Jeff will be cremated and inurned at the WV National Cemetery in Pruntytown on Tuesday, Feb. 21, where he will be laid to rest with Full Military Honors.
