William Perkins

It is with great sadness to announce the death of William “Ryan” Perkins. Ryan was born on Oct. 13, 1981, in Sacramento Calif., to Andrea Christine Haney and the late William Clifford Perkins.

Ryan lived his entire life in the Morgantown area. He graduated from University High in 2000 and attended WVU. At an early age, he and his brother ran a car detail shop and worked at the family owned business. He also worked construction throughout his life.

Ryan was a kind hearted person who dearly loved his family and friends. He was a true friend to so many, helping them through hard times and supporting anyone in need.

He was a lifelong fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Steelers.

Ryan is survived by his mother; a sister, Morgan Perkins, of Morgantown; a brother, Adam Perkins, of Charleston S.C.; a nephew, William Perkins; his grandmother, Mary Ann Haney; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Ryan’s memory to McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Westover, WV 26501.

Visitation will be held at McCulla Funeral Home, from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 3. Visitation will continue from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service on Saturday, Feb. 4, with Msgr. Anthony Cincinnati officiating. Interment will follow at Mapletown Cemetery, in Mapletown, Pa.
