Morgantown Theatre Company will present “Willy Wonka Jr.” three more times this weekend, following Friday night’s performance at the Metropolitan Theatre.
Showtimes are 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. today and 2 p.m. Sunday at the theater, at 371 High St.
A link to purchase tickets can be found on MTC’s Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/morgantowntheatrecompany and at https://morgantownmet.com/events/3239/.
Ticket prices are $15 for adults, $10 for children ages 12 and under.
“Willy Wonka Jr.” tells the story of Roald Dahl’s famous candymaker and his Golden Ticket contest — which will allow five children a peek into his top secret treat factory.
It features several songs from the Gene Wilder-starring film, along with many more.
MTC is a theater company comprised of local school-aged children, who team up every year for a professional-level performance, which gives them not only acting experience, but across-the-board hands-on knowledge of putting on a theater production from the ground up.
