Catherine Lucille Casteel Field, 59, of Morgantown passed away on Jan. 4, 2023. She was born on Jan. 17, 1963. She was the daughter of Karen Freeland and the granddaughter of late Les and Mary Turner, who had a big hand in helping raise her.
She is survived by her companion, David Knapp; two sons, Derick Field (Gina) and Jeff Field (Rebecca); a daughter, Jessica Otey (Shaqur); 12 grandchildren Nathan, Megan, Cole, Kadin, Jadin, Tayshia, Maliyah, Carson, Messiah, Ja’Niyah, Shaqur Jr. and a grandson on the way; and one sister, Margie Wolfe. She had special nieces and nephews Brad, Sara and Olen Hess and Kristen and Riley Wolfe. She will be missed by her fur baby, Bailey Girl.
She is preceded in death by her grandma Lucille Casteel Tanner and brother-in-law Wolfie.
Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 11. Interment will take place at Gladesville Cemetery.
