Jacob Peter Devlin, 20, of Fairmont, passed away Monday, Jan. 2, 2023, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown after a four year long battle with cancer.
Born Jan. 6, 2002 in Morgantown, Jacob was son of Peter Devlin and Heather Williams Devlin.
In addition to his parents, Jacob is survived by two sisters, Morgan and Keagan Devlin; his nephew, Waylon Roberts; his grandmothers, Bonnie Williams and Mary Devlin; his uncle, Thomas Williams and wife Colleen and their four children; and his faithful canine buddy, Dog.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Peter Devlin and Thomas Williams; and an aunt, Wilma Bankhead.
Jacob was a graduate of Morgantown High School. He was most recently employed at Mountaineer Lawn Care and obtained his welding certificate. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, as well as spending time with his family. Jacob will be missed by everyone who knew him.
At his specific request, Jacob will be cremated and a memorial service will be planned at a later date.
