Eugene “Geno” White III, 65, of the Beech Run Community, passed away Saturday, Dec. 31, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on Oct. 17, 1957, in Kingwood, the son of the late Eugene F. White II and Sandra (Sterling) and Max Garlitz.
Eugene was a 1975 graduate of Kingwood High School. Early in his life, Geno worked as a land surveyor for Interstate Lumber. Later, he was employed and retired from First Energy with 28 years of service. Geno loved life and took every opportunity to be outdoors, whether it was fishing, hunting or golfing. He also enjoyed music, often picking his favorite tunes on his guitar. His main love of his life was his family. Spending time with them laughing, reading or putting a puzzle together was what he loved the most.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Tanya (Titchenell) White; son and daughter-in-law, McKendree White and Brandi Wees; daughter and son-in-law, Erica and Chris Sypolt; grandson, Waylon James Sypolt; his sisters and spouses, Tammy Nutter, Tonya and Glenn Bray and Timalisa and Brett Jackson; his brothers and spouses, John and Toby Garlitz, Joe and Shannon Garlitz; his brother-in-law and spouse, Larry and Robin Titchenell; his sister-in-law and spouse, Tammy and Terry Ellifritz; several nieces and nephews; and his four legged companions, Ripple and Althea.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Grant and Leola (Orndorff) Titchenell; sister-in-law and husband, LaDonna and Carl Hoffman; and brother-in-law and wife, Gregory and Donna Titchenell.
Honoring his wishes, he will be cremated by Sunset Memorial Gardens Crematory, Kingwood. Kingwood Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
