Mark Armstrong

Mark Allen Armstrong, 62, of Reedsville, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2022, at his residence.
Born April 12, 1960, in Morgantown, Mark was son of the late George and Mary Engler Armstrong.

Mark is survived by his siblings, George Armstrong and wife Elizabeth Anne of Woodstock, Ga., and Glenn Cyphert and wife Diana, of Morgantown; his nieces, Veronica E. Cyphert and wife Michelle Costas, of Morgantown, and Anna Kesterson and husband Anthony, of Crawley; his stepdaughter, Kim Wolfe, of Reedsville; and his stepgranddaughter, Grace Wolfe.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife, Sandra Armstrong, on Jan. 19, 2020.

Mark was a graduate of Morgantown High School and completed vo-tech courses in welding. He was a mechanic for several years, and then began working for WVU Hospitals in the sterile processing department. Recently, he began to take up fishing and camping again, which were hobbies he enjoyed earlier in life. He was a sports fan and enjoyed attending WVU Mountaineer football games.

Friends may join Mark’s family to honor his life and legacy at Smith Funeral & Cremation Care, 108 Holland Ave., Westover/Morgantown, from 1 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 10 officiated by Pastor Dan Meadows.
