Margaret LaRue Pride, 66, of Morgantown, passed away Monday, Oct. 31, 2022, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. LaRue was born July 22, 1956, in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Orval Conrad Pride Sr. and Bette Louise Jackson Pride.
LaRue was a homemaker and a loving and doting mom, grandma, aunt and sister.
LaRue is survived by her two sons, Orval Pride (Justine Woodford) and Taylor Pride (Holly), all of Morgantown; sister, Paula Pride, of Morgantown; grandchildren, Thomas, Haley, Rexx and Jaxx; her niece and special confidant, Shelly Soccorsi; and many more nieces and nephews from West Virginia to Illinois.
In addition to her parents, LaRue was preceded in death by her sister, Donna Snyder and brothers, Conrad Pride, Tommy Pride and Curtis Pride and special cousin, Robbie Straight.
Private burial services were held at Beverly Hills Cemetery at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 4, with the Elders of Crescent Hills Chapel officiating. McCulla Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
