Ervin “Herman” Joshua Lipscomb Jr., 78, of Newburg, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 30, 2022, at Mon Health Medical Center with family by his side. He was born on Jan. 28, 1944, in Bertha Hill, Star City, son of the late Ervin Joshua Lipscomb Sr. and Lula Pearl (Huffman) Lipscomb.
Family and friends will be received at the Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave. Newburg, from 3-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 2, and from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 3, with Pastor Robert Anderson and Pastor Sonny McNear officiating. Interment will follow at the Pratt Cemetery, Newburg.
