West Virginia University welcomed parents and other family members of current students to campus Friday, kicking off its annual Fall Family Weekend.
The schedule is full of a variety of events for the families.
Friday started with a tour of Reynolds Hall, followed by a Mountaineer Welcome at the WVU Campus Recreation Center and Morgantown Arts Walk in downtown.
Families could also visit the WVU Planetarium, the men’s basketball Gold-Blue Debut at the Coliseum and take in WVU Up All Night at the Mountainlair.
Today’s schedule includes an open house of the Health Sciences schools and colleges and a tour of the WVU Greenhouse/Agricultural Sciences Building-Evansdale Campus.
Gee Talk! will begin at 1 p.m. in the Mountainlair Ballrooms, giving families a chance to meet WVU President E. Gordon Gee.
The Fall Family Fair will be from 4-7 p.m. at the Davis College Green Space.
Sunday will start with Yoga On the Green at 8 a.m. at the Rec Center Green.
Brunch wills be from 9 a.m.-noon in the three dining halls.
Families who stick around can watch the women’s soccer team take on Baylor at 3 p.m. at Dick Dlesk Field.
