Dallas Wolfe

Dallas Wolfe Jr. “Biff,” 92, of Rowlesburg, went to his heavenly home on Oct. 9, 2022. Born in Grafton, he was the son of the late Marion Virginia and Dallas Dayton Wolfe and was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Harlene Wolfe, of 67 years.

Dallas worked as a Millwright and served as general foreman for Yoder Construction for many years. He was a member of the Carpenter’s Local Union 1024. Dallas served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He was Past Master of the Blue Lodge, No 165, A.F. & A.M., Rowlesburg, and was a member of this lodge for 71 years. He was a member of the Osiris Shriners, Wheeling, and DeMolay Commandery, No 11, Knights Templar and Copestone Chapter, No 12, Royal Arch Masons, Grafton.

Dallas is survived by his sister, Kathleen Orescanin, of Rowlesburg; his daughter, Terri Lynn Bulford (Jerry), of Bluefield; his sons, Dallas D. Wolfe III (Denise), of Kingwood, and Paul E. Wolfe (Andrea), of Rowlesburg; his grandchildren, Martha Jean (Aaron) Webb, of Bristow, Va., Dallas J. (Jana) Wolfe IV, of Kingwood, Sara Lynn (Larry Jr.) Harper, of Princeton, Evan Michael Wolfe, of Silver Springs, Md., and Paula Michelle Jacobs, of Thornton; step-grandchildren, Mitchell Ross Hartley, of Pittsburg, and Christopher Ray Hartley (Summer), of Westover; great-grandchildren, Jerry F. Bulford III, Joana Patricia Bulford, George Alexander Webb, Katie Lynn and Liam Douglas Harper, Isabella Sophia Michelle and Finnley James Mychal Jacobs and Dallas Robert Wolfe V; and great-great grandchildren, Weston Kade and Adalynn Mae Bulford.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his youngest son, James Delbert Wolfe; brother, William Paul Wolfe; and sister, Doris Jean Wolfe Rooks and his first born grandson, Jerry Franklin Bulford.

A celebration of Dallas’s life will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital in Dallas’s memory and should be made payable to the Osiris Shriners, P.O. Box 2048, Wheeling, WV 26003.
