William Paul “Bill” McCuskey, 88, of Morgantown, passed away Thursday, Sept. 22, 2022, at Windy Hill Manor. Bill was born in Buckhannon, on Nov. 14, 1933, a son of the late Samuel Roy McCuskey and Arah Gladys Cunningham McCuskey.
Bill owned and operated several rental properties, along with his painting company. He was a member of Westover United Methodist Church and Fraternal Order of Eagles. In his free time, Bill enjoyed being outdoors, camping, boating and walking. His greatest love came from being with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Bill is survived by his daughters, Deborah McCuskey Prutzman and husband Robert, of Atlanta, and Toni G. McCuskey and husband Daniel Frey Sr., of Morgantown; son, Robert G. McCuskey and wife Amy, of Texas; sisters, Jessie Friend, of Morgantown, and Georgeanne Dunko-Nine, of South Carolina; grandchildren, Anthony McKeone and wife Stephanie, Miles McKeone and wife Janet, Trent McCuskey, Whitney McCuskey and husband Bobby, William “Little Billy” McCuskey, John “Frank” McCuskey, Christine McCuskey, Michael McCuskey, Scott McCuskey and John Guzman and wife Jackie; and 19 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Betty S. Dunko-McCuskey; son, William J. McCuskey; sister, Mary White; and brother, Samuel McCuskey.
Friends may gather at McCulla Funeral Home, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 27. Graveside services will take place at Beverly Hills Cemetery at 11 a.m. on Tuesday with Pastor Stacy Tritt officiating.
