Ralpheline (Barzanti) Howard, 85, a longtime resident of Bobtown, Pa., died Sunday, Sept. 18, 2022, at the Hospice of the Western Reserve in Mentor, Ohio. Born May 28, 1937, in Dilliner, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Harriet (Wilson) Barzanti.
A 1955 graduate of Mapletown High School, she was a member of St. Ignatius R.C. Church in Bobtown, Pa. She was a former scout leader, member of the Eastern Star and the Shannopin Civic Club and was the cook for the Bobtown Senior Citizens for over 20 years and for many activities at her church. Ralpheline was a former custodian at the Bobtown Elementary School for the Southeastern Greene School District.
Surviving is her son, James Howard and wife Debi, of Painesville, Ohio; a grandson, Caleb James Howard and wife Jessie, of Columbus, Ohio; a brother, Terry Barzanti and wife JoAnn; a sister, Mitzi Hornick, all of Bobtown, Pa.; her brother-in-law, Tom Headlee, of Waynesburg; and several loving nieces and nephews.
Deceased is her twin sister, Pauline Headlee, and a granddaughter, Jeannette Lyons.
Friends will be received in the Richard R. Herod Funeral Home, Point Marion, Pa., from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. hour of a blessing service, on Thursday with the Rev. Fr. Francis Frasier officiating. Interment follows in Evergreen Memorial Park, Point Marion, Pa.
