Timothy Michael “Mike” Conner II, 38, of River Road, dropped the mic with a peace out and have fun with those earthlings on Sept. 10, 2022.
He was born in Morgantown May 18, 1984, the son of Tim and Tamara “Tammy” Conner. He attended University High School but went on to graduate from the South Hampton Institute of Technology after entering the family business and more recently becoming a co-owner in Morgantown Septic with his parents.
He will always be remembered for the joy and laughter he could bring to the people he loved. His love for adventure and mischievous ways paved a road not free of challenges and tribulations. Yet his warrior spirit kept him moving forward as he found his way back to family and friends with a renewed commitment to life, love and dancing.
He will be sadly missed and is survived by his parents; his fiancé, Jessica “Jessie Poo” Bragg (Morgantown); grandmother, Mary Jo Goff DeGasperin (Morgantown); his special aunt, Debbie Goff Pegg and Cliff Levinsky (Star City); Kit Conner (Fairmont); Taylor Pegg (Morgantown); Christopher Pegg (Star City); Molly Conner (Baltimore), Will “Dexter” Conner (Romansville, Pa.), Mandy Goff (Powellton); and Jeremy Goff (Morgantown); great-aunts and uncles, Victoria Petitte Conner (Morgantown); Jim “Hap” Galusky and Rose (Prince Frederick, Md.); George Pohlman (Weirton); and many beloved friends and extended family (including his most cherished fur babies, Loki and Freyja).
He was welcomed into the spirit world by the loving arms of those who preceded him: his cherished brother, Kyle Patrick Conner; beloved grandmothers, Jean P. Conner and Grandma Honey (Jane Galusky); and uncles, Dexter Conner Jr., Randy Goff and Ted Conner. He was also met by the grandfathers he never knew but always wanted to meet, Charles “Chuck” Goff and Charles Dexter Conner Sr.
His passion for the four legged led him to become a certified K-9 trainer and worked diligently to teach his parents the art of commands (they continue to try). He had dreams of expanding his work in service to other pet owners and the canine community so, in memory of this passion, the family asks in lieu of flowers, please make donations to Animal Friends of North Central WV, P.O. Box 1090, Dellslow, WV 26531.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Hastings Funeral Home. Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, from 3 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 16, with the Rev. Reba Thurmond officiating.
