Beverly Renee Stone, 73, of Reedsville, passed away Friday, Sept. 9, 2022, at home, after a brief illness with her loving family at her side.
Beverly was born at her grandparents’ home in Valley Point, on July 30, 1949, a daughter of the late Ralph Glen and Wanda Gay (Martin) Livengood.
She loved her fur babies, Tuxedo, Patches and Verbal. She was employed at the Washington Post in D.C. and The Dominion Post. She worked for many years in customer service at Sheidow Bronze, now Matthews Bronze, in Kingwood. She loved shopping, traveling, gardening and working in her flower beds.
Beverly is survived by her loving husband, Terry R. “Jeff” Stone; four stepsons, Chris Stone and Beth, of Arthurdale, Richie Stone and Meloney, of Reedsville, Kevin Stone and Samantha, of Reedsville, and Chris Hauver; three stepdaughters, Amy Livengood and Shane, of Kingwood, Kelly Welch and Travis, of Albright, and Jennifer Hauver; grandchildren, Anthony Stone, Ashden Dixon and Zachary, Madison Livengood, Ethan Livengood, Carson, Kaleb and Kenley Stone and Aubrey and Cooper Welch, Roman and Willow Hauver and Sarah and Grace James; two great grandchildren, Paige and Wyatt Dixon; three brothers, Bradley Livengood and wife Rosanna, Brian Livengood and wife Kathy and Barry Livengood; two nephews, Shawn Livengood and Ali and Nathan Livengood and Lori; a niece, Shelly Livengood and Lonie; five great-nephews, Bryce Livengood, Grayson Livengood, Ayden, Brady and Cashden Ward; great-niece, Emily Livengood and close friends, Lynn and Richard Eychner, Whitney Brooks-Hagedorn; and her sons, Braden Brooks-Hagedorn and Brody Brooks-Hagedorn.
She was proceeded in death by her first husband, Michael “Mick” Hauver; stepson, Jeff Stone; and a special friend, Machell Brooks.
Friends and family may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown, from 3 p.m. until the 7 p.m. service time on Monday, Sept. 12, with the Dr. Rev. David Spence officiating. To honor her wishes she will then be cremated.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Beverly’s memory can be made to the Preston County Animal Shelter, 278 Poor Farm Road, Kingwood, WV 26537.
