Patty Rose Dewitt, 63, formerly of Morgantown and most recently of Salem, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 25, 2022 at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport.
She was born in Morgantown, on Dec. 25th, 1958, a daughter of the late George and Bessie Everly Dewitt.
Patty is survived by her sister, Irene Walker and many friends from REM.
Patty’s family, friends, and caregivers are welcome for her visitation at Smith Funeral & Cremation Care, 108 Holland Ave., Westover/Morgantown, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 29, at which time a procession will leave the funeral home for a graveside committal service at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens in Westover.
