James Arnold Campbell, 64, of Morgantown, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2022, at his home.
He was born in Morgantown on Dec. 25, 1957, a son of the late Samuel and Twyla Long Campbell.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Jane Campbell; three children, Allen Campbell, of Morgantown, Patricia Kaye Campbell Mapel and husband Daniel, of Terra Alta, and Missy Campbell, of Morgantown; his stepchildren, James Michael Payne and Holly Payne; six grandchildren, including DaeShawn Campbell, of Morgantown, Makyla Campbell, of Morgantown, Dayton Mapel of Terra Alta, Kaylee Mapel, of Terra Alta, Eleigha Mapel, of Terra Alta and Dannika Mapel, of Terra Alta; and his siblings, Roy Campbell and wife Sandra, of Morgantown, Terry Campbell, of Jakes Run, David Campbell and his wife Barbara, of Morgantown, and Joe Campbell, of Morgantown; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Allen Duane Campbell.
No public services are being held. However, friends and family are welcome to attend a dinner in his honor at the Clinton District Fire Hall, located at 1989 Grafton Rd. in Morgantown, at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 28.
