
Christopher Adam Behneman, 22, of Eglon, entered eternal rest on July 21, 2022, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
Christopher was born on July 25, 1999, to Adam Carl Behneman and April Dawn Kelley. Raised in Aurora, he grew to find his life’s calling as a husband, father and underground coal miner.
He entered into a loving marriage with Kelsey (Price) Behneman on June 25, 2020. Together they took great pride in raising their daughter, Everlee May Behneman. Christopher was an underground coal miner at Leer Mining Complex in Grafton. In his free time, he found great joy in hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. Christopher always wore a smile on his face and was a blessing to all that knew him.
In addition to his wife, Kelsey, and daughter, Everlee, Christopher is survived by his mother, April Kelley, of Hopwood, Pa.; a brother, Aaron Behneman and fiancé Tevon, of Terra Alta; sister-in-law, Taylor Price, of Terra Alta; maternal grandparents, Cynthia and Charles Kelley, of Aurora; paternal grandparents, Susan and Stephen “Pop” Braun, of Leesburg Fla.; mother and father-in-law, Joseph and Christy Price, of Terra Alta; best friend, Derek Chambers, of Martinsburg, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
Christopher is preceded in death by his father, Adam Carl Behneman; brother, Quinton Ray Kelly; cousin, Devin Stanish; and paternal grandfather, Carl Behneman.
A memorial service will be held at Kingwood Funeral Home Chapel, from 1-2 p.m., the service hour, on Monday Aug. 8, with Pastor Mark Teets officiating.
