MORGANTOWN — Children’s book author Ashley Belote — a Preston County native — will have a story time and book signing at noon Saturday, July 16, at the University Town Centre Barnes & Noble.
She will be signing copies of her new book, Listen Up, Louella! It follows the elephant, Louella, on her adventures at Roar Scout Camp. Louella is so busy having fun that she doesn’t stop to listen to anyone else or realize that maybe her new friends aren’t having as much fun as she is. She learns valuable lessons about listening and being a good friend.
Following the reading, there will be an art demo and kids will get a chance to draw their own Louella.
