
Lucille Moore Jamison, 87, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 7, 2022. Lucille was born on March 19, 1935, in Morgantown a daughter of the late Fred V. Moore and Susan Hoard Moore.
Lucille was a homemaker. She was a member of Fort Martin United Methodist Church and also attended the Riverside United Methodist Church, where she played the piano at both churches.
Lucille is survived by her three children, James (Nancy) Jamison, Jarrett (Sheila) Jamison and Joyce (Steve) Jamison Strakal; grandchildren, Ashley Jamison, Brandon Jamison and Jarrett Jamison IV; and one sister, Alyce Nicholson, of Cartersville, Ga.
In addition to her parents, Lucille was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Jarrie Jamison, in 2018.
Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Westover, from 3-7 p.m. on Monday and from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service on Tuesday with Pastor Jim Weber officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Martin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Lucille’s memory to Fort Martin United Methodist Church 1193 Fort Martin Road Maidsville, WV 26541.
