Jennifer Lea Cress, 49, of Independence, completed her earthly journey on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, while surrounded by family. She was born on March 8, 1973, to the Rev. Dr. Gary Helms and Connie Lea (Catlett) Helms.
Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, May 23, and from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. time of service on Tuesday, May 24, with Pastor Marshall Woods officiating. To honor Jennifer’s wishes, cremation services will be provided.
The family would like to thank those who continuously prayed for her and provided care and comfort during this journey. They would also like to thank WV Caring, who provided her at-home care for the last several weeks.
