On Sunday, May 15, 2022, our dear mother Phyllis Ann Wilhelm, 77, (Coal Lick Road) went to be with her heavenly family. She was born March 6, 1945, to the late Dana and Bessie Howell.
Our mother left behind two daughters who cherished her deeply and will forever carry all of the knowledge and skills that she taught them.
She was a wonderful gardener and was know for her beautiful large tomatoes and beautiful flowers. She was always seen outside doing work. She so much enjoyed cooking meals for her family, her daughters could not have asked for a better teacher than her to take care of their own families.
She is survived by her daughters, Pam and Carl Schmidle and Robin and Tim Roy; five grandchildren: Josh Dixon and fiance Marlana, Brandy Wilt and husband Adam, Justin Wilhelm, Samantha Roy and Noah Roy; four great-grandchildren, Trinity, Evan, Avery and Ziva; her brother, Roger Howell, of Uniontown, Pa.; a very special brother-in-law and best friend, Jesse Hershman, of Terra Alta; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, George Wilhelm.
Being the kind and wonderful Mother she was, she had all of her arrangements taken care of. Her wishes were to be cremated and her ashes will rest beside our Dad at Valley Point and a graveside service and celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
