Gladys Louise Vincent, 80, of Morgantown, passed away Friday, May 6, 2022, at her home. Gladys was born April 2, 1942, in Tunnelton, a daughter of the late Elmer Lee and Mary Delia Fowler Danser.
Gladys was a homemaker and attended the First Presbyterian Church.
Gladys is survived by her two sons, Walter Lee Vincent, of Morgantown, and Steven Wayne Vincent and spouse Sandy, of Accident, Md.; two daughters, Jacqueline Louise Tokarcik and husband Mike, of Westover, and Teekonia D. Vincent and fiancée Jeremy Clark, of Independence; grandchildren, Cody Vincent and Chad Vincent, both of Tennessee, Heather Sanders, of Accident, Md., Emily Dewitt, of Oakland, Md., and Ariel Cress, of Preston County; and six great-grandchildren, Peyton Sanders and Karson Sanders, Tate DeWitt, Lincoln Vincent and Liam and Karter Lambert; two sisters, Glenda Martin and Deloris DeWitt.
Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Hugh Vincent; grandson, Chance Vincent; brothers, Walter Danser, Waldo Danser, LeRoy Danser, Delmas Danser, Roger Danser and Kenneth Danser, and one sister, Mary Boyles.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to WVU Hospice for the love and compassion given to Gladys.
Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Westover, from 6-8 p.m. on Monday and from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service on Tuesday with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Cemetery.
