Richard E. “Bug” Martin Jr., 48, of Morgantown, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 2, 2022.
He was born Jan. 10, 1974, a son of Richard E. Martin Sr., of Core, and the late Dorothy J. Scoles.
Richard graduated from Morgantown High School and attended West Virginia University. Bug was an avid snow skier and particularly loved Snowshoe Ski Resort.
In addition to his father, he is survived by two brothers; George Scoles and fiancé Melissa Sacket, of Rachel (Marion County), and Charles Scoles (Alice), of Uniontown, Pa.; two sisters, Penny Scoles, of Morgantown, and Linda Phillips (Scott), of Pittsburgh; and a niece and several nephews.
Family and friends will be received at Dering-Henson Funeral Home, from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. celebration service on Friday, May 6.
