
Elsie Mae Everly, 94, of Bruceton Mills (Mount Grove community), passed away Thursday, April 14, 2022, at her daughter’s home. The daughter of the late Hose B. Everly and Hazel Forman Everly, she was born April 11, 1928, in Mount Grove.
Elsie was a member of the Church of the Brethren, a homemaker and she had worked for the Preston County Senior Citizens with Elderly Assistance and in home care.
She is survived by a daughter, whom she resided with, Nancy (Terry) Feather; four sons: Lloyd Nelson, Robert Jeremiah, Larry (Dena) and Garry (Wendy) Everly, all of Bruceton Mills; six grandchildren: Tammy (Duane) Bishoff, Christy (Chris) Goldizen, Tracy Feather, Mandi (Vito) Gialone, Jillian (K.C.) Biermann and Alyssa (John) Briggs; four great-grandchildren: Brynna Bishoff, Andrea and Hunter Goldizon, Leighton and Liam Biermann and Alaina Gialone; a brother, Bert and his wife, Naomi Liston; and a brother, Hosa Liston.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jeremiah Everly, in 1980; two sisters, Mary Mickey and Lida Carroll; three brothers, Ora, Errol and Charles Liston; and great-grandsons, Brayden and Bryce Bishoff.
Family and friends may call at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, from 11 a.m. until the 2 p.m. service on Saturday, April 16, with Pastor Craig Bolyard officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bruceton Mills.
