Highmark West Virginia Charitable Fund for Health, in partnership with Crittenton Services, will present a nurturing parenting webinar opportunity for parents and caregivers throughout the state.
The Nurturing Parenting Lunch & Learn webinar series will take place from noon–12:45 p.m. on the first Tuesday of every month, beginning next week and running through Dec. 6.
Sarah Canterbury Young, community outreach supervisor for Wellspring Family Services, a Crittenton community program, will lead the online presentations.
The goal for the program is to provide parents and caregivers with the knowledge and understanding to build healthy and supportive relationships with their children by using nurturing skills rather than corporal forms of discipline.
The online series is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
