Buck Duane “Jake” Cole, 80, of Kingwood, entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 25, 2022, from J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. He was born Feb. 4, 1942 in Morgantown a son of the late Robert Duane and Nelma Veatrice (O’Neil) Cole. Jake was a coal miner for 42 years and member of the UMWA. His passions in life were his children, grandchildren and everything deer hunting. He was a member of the Living Faith Church.
Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Peggy Ann (Sigley) Cole; sons, Franklin D. and Jeffrey L. Cole; stepson, Joe Miller (Roxanne); stepdaughter, Teresa Harper (Rick); grandchildren, Sarah, Jeffrey Jr., Samantha and Faith; great-grandson, Dakota; and step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, John Cole.
Private graveside services will be in Fairview Cemetery.
