
Rosemary Weaver, 74, of Kingwood, died Monday March 21, 2022, at home with family by her side.
She was born Feb. 17, 1940, in Reedsville, the daughter of the late Lawrence Varner and Ethel Stonebreaker McCrobie.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and homemaker. Rosemary loved watching Western movies and enjoyed music and sitting on her porch watching the birds at the feeder. She loved canning, was an excellent cook and enjoyed being with family at mealtime.
She is survived by her son, Raymond E. Weaver Jr. of Reedsville; daughters, Patricia Ann Kyle and Jeffery, of Kingwood, and Mary Jane Bodine and Paul, of Reedsville; brothers, Harry McCrobie and Susan, of Kentucky, Samuel McCrobie and companion Alice Sines, of Reedsville, and Daniel Barnhart, of Parkersburg; sisters, Connie Jenkins and Joe, Bonnie Gibson, of Ohio, Ida Stonebreaker, of Alabama, Lillie Reckart and Patrick, of Kingwood, and Charlotte Forsythe and Lee, of Pennsylvania; six grandchildren, Samantha Jo Sypolt, Karrie Lynn Sypolt, Jack Ryan Bodine, Roger Lee Kyle II, Brittany Nicole Kyle and Tresten Shane Weaver; two great-grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Lulu.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Weaver, on Jan. 21, 2022; her daughter, Connie Sue Weaver; eight brothers; and four sisters.
Family will receive friends at Browning Funeral Home in Kingwood, from 10 a.m.-noon, the funeral hour, on Thursday, March 24, with Pastor Kelly Gamble officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
