Gloria Rae Linger, 81, of Morgantown, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2022, at her home with her son by her side. She was born Aug. 14, 1940, in Morgantown, a daughter of the late John M. and Leola P. Huggins.
She enjoyed playing Bingo, but, most of all, she cherished spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by a son, Harvey Coffman and wife Connie, of Morgantown; two sisters, Delores Jean West, Loretta Lee Starn, both of Fairmont; four grandchildren Michelle Murray, Jason Christopher and wife Crystal, Stacy Woody and husband Josh and Samantha Bice and husband Joe; and eight great-grandchildren Cody Edgell, Justin Murray, Tyler Murray, Emily Christopher, James Christopher, Zachary Woody, Brooklynn Woody and Zane Bice.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Harvey F. Coffman; her second husband, Roy Linger; and a son, David Coffman.
The family would to extend a special thank you to all of the nurses and staff of Amedisys Hospice for all of their care and support.
Visitation will be held at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, from 3-7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 23, and again from 11 a.m. until the funeral service at noon on Thursday with Pastor Gwendolyn McKinley officiating. Gloria will be laid to rest at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
