David Lee Martin, 46, of Morgantown, formerly of Terra Alta, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital.
David was born on Jan. 18, 1976, the son of the late Gary and Patricia Martin.
David enjoyed listening to music and was an avid fan of Pink Floyd. He also enjoyed going on road trips with his wife, car shows, Star Wars, the Marvel universe and being an uncle.
David is survived by his loving wife of seven years Chandy; his four furbabies, Delilah, Hazel, Mabel and Gus; siblings, Carolyn and spouse Steven Biggs, and Karen and spouse Brian Foller; sister-in-law, Niki Huggins; best friend, David McCloud and spouse Cindy; nieces and nephews, Olivia, Abby, Trevor, Rose, Bella, Autumn and Isaiah, his travel buddy; and in-laws, Scoop and Sandy Moore.
Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St. Morgantown, from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 24. Visitation will continue from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 25, with the Rev. Chad Reese officiating. In accordance with the family’s wishes, cremation services will follow.
