Opal Wilhelm

Opal V. Summers Wilhelm, 96, of Albright (Lenox Community), passed away Thursday, March 17, 2022, at her residence, with her family by her side.

The daughter of the late Missouri Summers, she was born on May 31, 1925, in Albright.
Opal was a member of the Irona Full Gospel Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Connie Blaney and Crystal (Melvin) Reckart, of Albright; two sons, Edgar (Carrie) Wilhem, of Albright, and Jeff Wilhelm, of Connellsville, Pa.; and a son-in-law, Jack Fitchett, of Kingwood. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Travis (Cindy) Fitchett, John Fitchett, Stacy (Joe) Greaser, Jason Kennedy, Melanie (Shaun) Reckart, Chad (Tonya) Blaney, Sheena (Joey) Wilson and Coy Goff; great-grandchildren: Colton (Kelsey) Greaser, Jacee Greaser, Britni (Jason) Blaney, Dyllon Fitchett, Lexi Wilson, Haden Kennedy and Dalaynie Myers; and her sister, June Wilhelm, of Vermilion, Ohio.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Earl M. Wilhelm; daughter, Marie (Gabby) Fitchett; and brothers, Ben and Everett Summers.

Family and friends may call at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service, on Monday, March 21, with Pastors Bob Hoover and Tim Warnick officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Moriah Cemetery in Bruceton Mills.
