Patrick W. Teets, 49, of Morgantown, passed away Thursday, Feb. 24, 2022, in Florida. He was born Aug. 24, 1972, a son of Donald and Mary Teets, of Morgantown.
Patrick was affiliated with the Triune Halleck and Clinton District Fire Departments. He was also affiliated with Forest Fire District Company 25, Dive Team and Camp Ambulance. He was a CDL Professional Truck Driver for many gas, coal and oil field companies.
He loved hunting and going to Colorado ever year to elk hunt. He especially loved spending time and playing with his stepchildren.
Most people who knew Patrick were aware he was battling MS for the last 22 years. Unfortunately, due to complications, the disease took his life.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his partner, April Nice; stepdaughters, Heather Chance and Katlin Nice; three granddaughters, Zoey, Skyler, and Annie; siblings, Sean and Jamie Teets; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Donald Ernest and Frances Louise (Kinsley) Teets and maternal grandparents, Kenneth Gordon and Isabelle (Walker) Hartzel.
Cremation arrangements have taken place. Friends and family will be received at Triune-Halleck Volunteer Fire Hall, 621 Halleck Road, Morgantown, from 10 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 19, with Dr. Lindsey Guinn officiating. Inurnment will take place at Summers Cemetery off Halleck Road.
