Jacqueline Kay (White) Turner, 84, of Reedsville, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. She was born April 27, 1937, in Masontown, daughter of the late Walter Oliver and Margaret Matilda (Morris) White.
Jackie was a loving devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She assisted her late husband of 56 years, Eldon “Red” Turner, in the operation of their business, Continental Real Estate. She was an exceptional wife and mother who cared deeply for her family and neighbors. This was done not out of obligation, but because of who she was. She always ensured that her children were safe, healthy and happy.
She is survived by her four children: Mark Turner and wife Edith “Dee Dee,” of Vonore, Tenn.; Sandra (Turner) Wolfe and husband Ricky, of Reedsville; identical twin boys, James Turner and wife Crystal, of Morgantown, and Timothy Turner and wife Kristy, of Morgantown; and 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Ricky, Sandra, Bethany Wolfe and Shirley and son Josh Lambert, who assisted in her daily care over the past several years.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Curtis, Philip and Morris “Bud” White, and sister, Rosemary Kennedy.
Friends will be received at the Morgan Funeral Home in Reedsville, from 2 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 12, with the Rev. Timothy Turner officiating.
Private graveside services will be held at a later date.
Morgan Funeral Home is honored to serve the Turner family.
