Kenneth Lindamood

Kenneth Ray Lindamood, 52, of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday March 2, 2022, at home. He was born May 14, 1969, in Morgantown, a son to Gary Charles Lindamood and Judith Myers Lindamood.

Kenny graduated from Morgantown High School in 1987. After graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed at Malstrom Air Force Base in Great Falls, Mont. After returning to Morgantown, Kenny had a career as a CNC machinist and worked for various machine shops in the area. He was a member of Johnson’s Chapel United Methodist Church.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his children, Melanie Lindamood Keaffer (Lee), daughter of Jennifer Buky, of Portsmouth R.I., Kenleigh Lindamood (fiancé Andrew Cottrell), of Morgantown, Garrett Lindamood (fiancé Kylee Cottrell), and Justin Lindamood, children of Lurena Lindamood, also of Morgantown; granddaughter, Molly Keaffer of Portsmouth, R.I.; his grandmother, Frances Lindamood; aunt, Robyn Lindamood, of Morgantown; uncle, the Rev. David Myers (Terra), of Elizabeth Pa.; and his sister, Lisa Lindamood Matthews (Rob), of Morgantown. Kenny is also survived by two nephews, Brady Matthews and Colton Matthews, of Morgantown, as well as many special cousins in the area and close friend, Kim Garletts Balsega.

Kenny was predeceased by his grandparents, the Rev. Raymond Myers, Dorothy Spacht Myers and H.K. “Kenny” Lindamood; his uncles, Alan Lindamood and Donald Myers; and an aunt, Betti Clawges.

Friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 9 with the Rev. Lawrence Rebelo officiating. In keeping with his wishes, cremation services will take place following the services.
