Jackquelyn Hughes Bishop, 86, of Morgantown, passed away at her home March 3, 2022. She was born in Indiana, Pa., on April 11. 1935, a daughter of the late Robert D. Hughes and Alyce E. Byrne.
She is survived by her children, Elizabeth Sisler Roark (Jeffrey) and John Kevin Sisler (Paula Glavach), and one granddaughter, Elianna Reagan Sisler, all of Morgantown. Also surviving her are brothers, Robert Hughes, Dennis Hughes; sister, Suzanne Hersey; special friends, Christy Mayfield and Helen Baker; and faithful companion, Teddy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John M. Sisler and Frank S. Latusek.
Jackquelyn was a retired business owner and agent of the Jackquelyn H. Bishop Insurance Agency for 20 years. She graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science degree and was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority, where she remained an active alumna for many years. She was also a lifetime member of the Morgantown Service League and a longtime volunteer at The Old Stone House.
At her request, services will be private.
